In the spirit of the centuries-old Orthodox tradition and with a strong message of faith and unity, Kriva Palanka marked the great Christian feast of Epiphany – Vodici with dignity and in large numbers. The holiday, which symbolizes the sanctification of the waters and the baptism of Christ in the River Jordan, once again brought citizens together around spiritual values, tradition, and shared joy.
The central event took place on the waters of the Kriva Reka, where, after the blessing of the river, the Holy Cross was thrown. Among the believers who bravely entered the cold waters was the Mayor of the Municipality of Kriva Palanka, Sashko Mitovski. Through his direct participation in the ritual, the mayor sent a strong and clear message of personal dedication, respect for Orthodox traditions, and unity with the citizens.
